Heads-up, storm photographers! This year’s winners of the second annual Storm Photos of the Year competition are out. Created and organized by renowned photographer Mike Olbinsky, “The Stormys”, as the competition is called, is a celebration of the passion and dedication of storm photographers, both professionals and amateurs alike. Olbinsky hopes to recognize the skills of these photographers to achieve the ideal composition and setting for their breathtaking photos despite the challenges and dangers of the storm photography genre.
According to Olbinsky, he created the contest to showcase the talent of storm-chasing photographers, who risk life and limb to capture nature’s beauty and power.
