Earthquake Prediction With AI Gives Amazing Results
AI has become the talk of the town lately. Now it has entered the geology field as well. A new method of trying to predict an earthquake utilizing AI has outshone any previous methods known. In a weekly forecast, the AI system managed to predict 14 earthquakes accurately up to 200 miles. All the data that the AI needed was provided through records of previous earthquakes and real-time seismic data. While still in the early testing stages, the initial success has researchers excited about AI’s potential to improve earthquake predictions.
